GEOGLYPHS by Nathania Gail GoArt comes in all forms, color, and sizes. It can be a simple carving or something as grand (and unexplainable) as geoglyphs. Art stimulates the mind to think beyond the obvious. Art is timeless.

SPLASH by Lady Krystle Tanmantiong & Anna Oposa
A splash of color. A splash of life. For most of us who can only dream of going scuba diving in Tubbataha, we took this opportunity to take you on an underwater journey. Brimming with species that can be found in our waters, these skimmers celebrate the vibrant wealth of life that flourishes beneath our Philippine seas.

LIMITED EDITION Philippines-inspired design! Based on the Metro Manila map and its iconic landmarks and avenues, Quirks is proud to present MANILA MANIA – an original design by Kasey Albano of Punchdrunk Panda.
Explore the streets of Chinatown in Manila, party in Taguig, visit the TV studios in Quezon City, gaze at the skyscrapers of Makati, and stopover at the bamboo organ in Muntinlupa – all can be done in a day with the MANILA MANIA Mighty Wallet!
This design is still made by the ingenious construction and innovative material that has made Dynomighty the no. 1 in Tyvek Wallets today!
About Mighty Wallet®
Dynomighty is home to the revolutionary Mighty Wallet®:
Super-thin, expandable, tear-resistant, ecological — the new standard in cool wallets!
First sold at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Mighty Wallet is the original Tyvek wallet. Imported from the USA, designer Terrence Kelleman made the first folded Tyvek wallet in 2005 after getting inspiration from duct-tape DIY wallets online.
Mighty Strong! The Mighty Wallet® is tear-resistant, water-resistant, expandable and recyclable. Made from Tyvek® , the wallet resists tearing because of thousands of interlocking plastic fibers spun in random patterns giving the wallet incredible strength. The Mighty Wallet is also water-resistant. The fibers of the Mighty Wallet® are not paper but plastic so they remain just as strong wet or dry.
Mighty Thin! The microfiber Tyvek® material is one tenth of the thickness of a human hair. The entire wallet is only 1/8th of one inch thick. The Mighty Wallet is the thinnest wallet on the market that can literally adapt to hold whatever you put inside. The ingenious origami construction reinforces the material by using a single folded design allowing the wallet to gradually expand and adapt to meet your own personal storage needs. The Mighty Wallet is the first one-size-fits-all front pocket wallet ever designed.
Mighty Green! The Mighty Wallet is 100% recyclable (made from HDPE, the second most commonly recycled plastic) with 25% recycled content. Add in low energy production capacity, low energy requirements for transport, environmentally friendly inks, recycled and recyclable packaging – and you’ve got a true earth-friendly product in your hands!

Retailer Update

It’s not often that we blog about something here but we at PdP feel that we should personally inform you that Analog Soul will be closing its Trinoma store by July 31. We’re saddened to hear this news because one way or another, they have been the go-to store for PdP products, when customers want to touch/feel/pick-up products. Analog Soul has also been one of the very few retailers in Manila (or the Philippines) that supports local brands.

For sure, it’s going to be a big loss for us but we’d like to thank Analog Soul and its entire team for the support they’ve given Punchdrunk Panda. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. :)

We know that Analog Soul cannot be replaced, especially for our customers, who have been accustomed to seeing PdP in Analog Soul. That said, we’re still looking for retailers that would be open to support not only Punchdrunk Panda, but also local Filipino brands.

In the meantime, we’ve added QUIRKS to our roster of retailers.

QUIRKS Novelties & Curiosities was born out of a love for items which infuse irreverence and humor into everyday living. QUIRKS bring you conventional objects which twist tradition, inject life into the lackluster and alter the mundane into something magical.

We’re honored to be given this opportunity to feature the latest (and greatest) PdP camera straps in their stores (Power Plant & Shangri-la Mall). We also have something in store for you in the latter part of the year. So stay tuned! :D

Let’s welcome QUIRKS & 4 Hermanas to the PdP Family! *hugs*

Lovelots,
Gail

Life in 10KGs with my Punchdrunk Panda laptop sleeve
[Note: The above photo is not a recent photo so I don’t really look like that anymore, but it’s a nicely shot one with PdP laptop sleeves beautifully showcased and just a sliver of my Kaiju laptop sleeve in sight. :D]
Naturally, I would seem biased for saying this, but seriously, any traveler needs to keep his/her laptop protected. And I bring my portable desktop everywhere, pretty much, along with all my other paraphernalia, which is why my everyday bag weighs a ton. :P

My Punchdrunk Panda laptop sleeves have done their job for me all these years, and my Macbook is never without one (maybe except when I remove my laptop’s battery, which is non-existent now). Apart from the protection it provides, the Kaiju laptop sleeve I’m using also showcases a kick-ass design by talented Filipino graphic artist OJ Desuasido, which just makes it so much more awesome.
For my Life in 10KGs Giveaway, I’ll be giving three (3) lucky winners a Punchdrunk Panda sleeve each, along with other goodies summing up to P2000 worth of prizes. Click here to find out how to win! :)

With a shared frustration with the lack of affordable, funky, functional laptop sleeve, Jen & Gail combined their powers to design the funkiest, yet most practical laptop sleeves.

This idea eventually trickled down to other products on which graphic designs aren't conventionally applied onto such as footwear, camera straps, etc. :D

Today, Punchdrunk Panda continues to grow its pool of artists with each release while finding new products to apply designs onto. All this is done to fulfill their mission to funkify the world by ridding it of one boring product at a time.
